Swedish Gambling Authority, Lotteriinspektionen, has issued 28 new licences to various different operators across the gambling industry, since it was announced that the country would officially become iGaming-friendly. That said, numerous online casinos will be allowed to bring their operations as long as they are willing to secure a licence in this country.

Lotteriinspektionen, managed to issue 28 licences recently, since it was officially announced that Sweden would become iGaming-friendly. That way, various popular brands in the iGaming industry, (from Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) to 888), will be coming to Sweden by the end of the year. These top-class online casino brands include but are not limited to:

  • Cherry Casino
  • Gaming Innovation Group (GiG)

Of course, all companies had to meet series of legal criteria in order to fulfil the regulatory requirements.

GIG Steal the Limelight

GiG proudly announce they secured two licences for the re-regulated market.
GiG has secured two licences for the re-regulated market - one to cover in-house brands Rizk Casino, Guts Casino, Highroller Casino, Thrills Casino, Kaboo Casino and Betspin Casino, while the other will cover white label customers.
