The game is played with a single deck of 52 cards and players will never be playing against the dealer or another player. They simply have to create the best hand possible from the cards that are dealt.
The game begins by placing three bets in the ante circles on the table. Players will then receive three cards and the dealer will have two face down cards. Once players review their cards, they can choose to keep all bets on the table or pull the first bet back. Payouts for the game start with a pair of tens or Jacks, depending on the casino. If this pair is present, always leave the bets in place as it is a sure winner.
After players make their decision on their first bet, the dealer will flip one of the cards. This is used in the player hand to create a five card hand. Players will then review their four cards and will again choose whether to leave the bets in place or pull another one back. The next dealer card will be revealed. All hands are then shown and payouts will be distributed based on the rank of each hand.
Since players are not competing with others at the table, this is a great game for beginners. There are no strategies that must be learned to enjoy the game, though players may wish to take some risks on their first and second bets. If they have a hand that could lead to a straight or a flush, they should leave the first bet to reveal the first dealer card. They can then still pull back the second bet from the table if the cards do not create either of those hands.
Let It Ride is a simple and enjoyable game that can offer amazing payouts. Many games also have side bets that can be placed that can offer payouts on the three card hand that was originally dealt.
